Terrific 12¨ purple vinyl and as Waste Editions crew are really into emotive and personal sounds ,on this occasion this new release "Inside us " by Old Coroner can´t be otherwise...

COÀGUL is the muzak project of the visual artist Marc O'Callaghan (Barcelona, 1988). Its main function is to concentrate the energy of certain cosmic principles in the physical spot where its sound is performed or reproduced...

...Back at that time [S] employed worn and minimal gear, using primitive recording technics (hand-manipulation, mostly) in order to create "old school" and minimalistic industrial, black / dark ambient and noise but including many elements that can be recognized on Kazeria´s later works.....

Waste is set up as GH Records´s electronic music sublabel which wants to release gloomy and emotive stuff and besides to look for new artists and well-know also.

Coph Nia are well known in the Industrial world for their love in covering songs.
They’ve transformed The Leather Nun’s punk anthem “Prime Mover” into a brooding, industrial soundscape, and covered songs by different other artists as Front 242, Bauhaus, Arthur Brown, The Rolling Stones.

One danger of covering songs is that you might end up as a covers band, paying in smoky pubs and weddings ...
If you think that "Coph Nia" has too much class to end up en either category, well, let’s say you have too much faith in the band.
Coph Nia are already a bit too familiar with playing gigs in dodgy pubs, and they’ve even played at a pre wedding party ...

So in a desperate attempt to not end up having to provide the soundtrack to bikers picking up underage chicks or obscure uncles doing moves from Saturday Night Fever, Coph Nia have decided to take the demon by the horns, and tried to exorcise the Cover Demon before it consumes them.

The result is this release.
This collection of Coph Nia-fied covers including Ozzy Osbourne’s ”Mr Crowley”, the song Mr. Aldenon’s band was born to cover, “Black Sabbath” by the band of the same name, “Sick Things” by Alice Cooper and “Levitation” by psychedelic space rockers Hawkwind.

Hopefully, the exorcism will work. If not, you know where to look for Coph Nia in a few years...

1. Black Sabbath
2. Sick Thing
3. Levitation
4. Mr Crowley
